Race Entry GIVEAWAY – week 11 of #VentisWinterChallenge is underway!  Venti’s is committed to being part of and promoting a healthy lifestyle, which not only means serving you good, clean food, but also encouraging our guests, crew, friends and family to be active with fitness during winter in the Great Pacific Northwest.

This week’s giveaway is a race entry for a Run Wild Adventures race in 2017.  To enter, click over to our Facebook post, share the post on your timeline and tag a friend!  A winner will be randomly selected on Monday, March 13th.

Registering for a race and committing to a training schedule is a great way to be accountable to fitness as we transition from winter to spring.  According to the American Heart Association (AHA), being physically active is an important part in preventing heart disease, the nation’s No.1 killer.  To improve overall cardiovascular health, AHA suggests at least 150 minutes/week of moderate exercise or 75 minutes per week of vigorous exercise.  30 minutes, 5 times/week is an easy goal to remember.  You’ll even benefit if you divide your time into 2 or 3 segments of 10 to 15 minutes/day.  See infographic below for activity recommendations. 

We also want to see photos of you being active this winter!  Post a photo (viewable to the public so we can find it) of your fitness/outdoor activity and in the caption tag #ventiswinterchallenge.  Two weeks left in the challenge then we’ll randomly select a winner for a Venti’s gift card and swag pack.  One photo permitted per fitness/outdoor adventure, but you can post as many adventures as you want!  Snag a pic with the Venti’s swag in the photo for an additional entry.
