Next Gen Products — RFID

Hey, all. Leslie here. This post doesn’t really have much to do w/ Venti’s news. Actually nothing to do. I wanted to share the web site of my aunt Loretta’s company, Next Gen Products. Interesting stuff. Check it out.

As some of you know, Next Gen Products is an authorized reseller of Identity Stronghold Products. About 200 million credit cards now have RFID chips embedded into them and that number is increasing all the time. Identity thieves use simple readers to gain your card information by passing you on the street or any other public space. Protecting your cards in a secure sleeve or wallet will prevent this and keep your information safe. Are your cards protected? Is your passport protected?

Our website sells these RFID blocking products at substantially discounted prices. If you live in any of these 4 states, your license is an “enhanced” license and if read by an identity theft, would provide them more information about you than you know: Washington, Vermont, Michigan & New York. All passports issued since October 2006 have chips embedded in them to allow for easy border crossings. Keep your passport is a secure sleeve or wallet if it was issued since then. Check your credit cards. Ask your bank if you are unsure.

Before I got involved in this, I had no idea about the dangers of these contactless credit cards. Check out the “See for Yourself” tab on the website to see actual YouTube videos of the networks that have carried the stories about this. Anderson Cooper had a whole show about it just this past week.

OK, just wanted to pass along the info. Check out the site and the products and let us know what you think about our website and let me know if you have any questions.

Regards,

Loretta
