Salem Area Trails Alliance is making Salem a better place. Through their efforts, the creation of the Spring Valley Trail System will become a reality. The goal is to build a continuous trail system along the Willamette River – the Salem Greenway Trail (SGT). SATA is starting with the Spring Valley Trail.
This multi-use trail system is just past Hopewell, on the outskirts of Salem. It will provide more recreation opportunities for Salem area residents — in particular hiking + biking.
This enhancement of a local asset will bring another amenity, adding to the livability of Salem. Go SATA!
